Change Inc.'s Executive Director, Jill Johnson Selected as One of 20 International YouthBuild for First Global Leadership Fellows Cohort

YouthBuild USA recently announced their first Global Leadership Fellows Cohort. Change Inc.'s Executive Director, Jill Johnson, was one of 20 international YouthBuild leaders selected for their commitment to the growth and success of opportunity youth — young people between the ages of 16 and 24 who are neither in school nor employed.

All GAP School students are enrolled in the YouthBuild St. Paul Westside program. Our YouthBuild program provides students the opportunity to participate in construction and healthcare career pathways, leadership opportunities, community engagement, and the YouthBuild AmeriCorps program.

The chosen fellows embody the principles of service and transformation at the heart of the YouthBuild mission. The two-year fellowship offers an immersive learning experience with three key components: Leadership and Professional Development; Self-Care; and Peer Support and Community Building.

The program provides opportunities for directors to strengthen their leadership and organizational development skills, build community, and work together to strengthen collective efforts in support of opportunity youth.

Congrats, Jill!
