  • The Community School Collaborative (CSC) is an in-school and in-community partnership with Guadalupe Alternative Programs, focusing on Minneapolis and St. Paul Public Schools. The CSC is currently in American Indian Magnet School, Edison High School, Green Central School, Guadalupe Alternative Programs, Folwell School, Hmong International Academy, Jefferson Community School, Marcy Open School, Northeast Middle School, Pillsbury School, Transition Plus and Waite Park School. Services include targeted outreach, mediation, mentoring, individual, couple, family and group therapy provided by mental health practitioners and licensed mental health professionals, utilizing a Relational Diagnostic Assessment and Treatment (RDA) process.

 

  • Welcome & Keep, an essential prevention and early intervention component to our Community School Collaborative, utilizes the extensive community and cultural expertise of our specialists. Welcome & Keep staff members have also completed thirty hours of mental health behavioral aide training (as prescribed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services) and thirty hours of training as a third party neutral mediator (under the Minnesota Supreme Court's Alternative Dispute Resolution process).  Our efforts focus on social & emotional skill development, family support, mediation, mentoring and targeted outreach with young people and their families. Services are provided in school, in home and in community.

 

  • The Clinic Project is an outpatient therapy program offered through the Change Inc. office. Clinicians are available to treat a variety of mental health concerns. Most major health plans, Medical Assistance and private pay are accepted as payment for Outpatient Therapy. Interested parties can call the office to set up an appointment.

 

  • Recruitment, Training, Development & Supervision of Community and Cultural Specialists, masters and doctoral level internships and post-graduate externships through licensure and beyond (Minnesota State Board and American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy Approved Supervisors). Schools that we have hosted past and current interns & externs from include Argosy University, Bethel University, Saint Mary's University, University of Minnesota and the University of St. Thomas.

 

  • Relational Climate Assessments (RCA) for organizations, schools and communities, focusing on the capacity and effectiveness of relational functioning;

 

  • Relational Diagnostic Assessment (RDA) training for mental health practitioners and professionals, focusing on diagnostic and treatment processes that are culturally responsive;

 

  • Organizational development, consultation and research and training.
