GAP School for Fall 2020 will be in Distance Learning + Support mode. The decision to hold school in this format is based on guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health, Minnesota Department of Education and is in line with plans currently being considered by the St. Paul Public Schools.

What will this school year look like? |
Technology
Students will engage with courses and instructors primarily online. To make this possible we are taking the following steps:
- providing all students a laptop computer (along with a branded backpack and water bottle!)
- providing hot spots for students lacking internet access
- implementing the use of TEAMS for Education for delivery on on-line learning with opportunities to learn in real time as a class as well as flexibility to engage in learning at other times of the day or night,
In-person Services
In addition to distance learning, GAP School will provide the following in-person services as possible and while following all health guidance related to COVID-19:
- opportunities to learn in real time as a class as well as flexibility to engage in learning at other times of the day or night
- scheduled times to come to GAP for tutoring, social work and mental health support, help with technology, and small group activities
Meals & Transportation
All students are eligible for meals while enrolled. Meals will be delivered to students/families on a once per week basis (5 meals picked up at one time.)

Paper Packets of Learning Materials
Some courses will provide packets of paper materials to support learning.
Stipends and Awards
This year we have increased opportunities for students to earn a stipend for completing career and college readiness competencies, an AmeriCorp Education award, and financial bonuses for continuous employment post-graduation.
